James Mingey
President & Chief Executive Officer

Jim was appointed by TVC’s Board of Directors as President in 2009 to change The Veteran Corporation from a Federally funded, Washington based advocacy organization to a self-sustaining Veteran small business resource provider.

Jim previously founded the NEOF and will merge its activities with the The Veterans Corporation to achieve its mission. In collaboration with local nonprofit community partners, NEOF has incubated over 1000 permanent living wage jobs since 2001.

Jim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Dayton. He is a Vietnam Veteran, classified disabled and was awarded a Bronze Star and the Army Commendation Medal with V for Valor. When Jim is not on the road serving or working to help a Veteran start or grow a business, Jim can be found with his wife Nancy in Easton, Maryland.
